Division of Licensing Services/Office of
Special Licensing oversees the
licensing and regulation of Speech and Hearing professionals. The division is
guided through the Speech and Hearing Advisory Committee established by
Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S.) Title 36, Chapter 17, Article 1. §
36-1902(A)(1) and (C).
August 2008 Hearing Aid Dispenser Licensing Examination:
The next Hearing Aid Dispenser Licensing Examination will be held in
August 2008. An Application to sit
for this examination may be downloaded by clicking on the following License
by Examination Application [PDF 28K], or obtained by calling or visiting the
Office of Special Licensing. Applications
must be received by the Office of Special Licensing on or before July 30,
2008. All applicants will be
notified of the exact date of the examination prior to August 8, 2008.
The Advisory Committee is
composed of the OSL Program Manager, 2 physicians, 2 audiologists, 2 hearing
aid dispensers, 2 members of the public and 1 member from the Commission for
the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
