• Hearing Aid Dispenser Licensing Examination
  The next Hearing Aid Dispenser Licensing Examination will be held on February 28 and 29, 2012. Applications for the exam will be accepted from December 19, 2011 through February 1, 2012 only. Applications sent before December 19, 2011 or after February 1, 2012 will be sent back to the applicant and the applicant will not be registered to take the examination. Call our office with any questions.

The Division of Licensing Services/Office of Special Licensing oversees the licensing and regulation of Speech and Hearing professionals. The division is guided through the Speech and Hearing Advisory Committee established by Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S.) Title 36, Chapter 17, Article 1. § 36-1902(A)(1) and (C).

Speech and Hearing Professionals Advisory Committee
The Advisory Committee is composed of the OSL Office Chief, 2 physicians, 2 audiologists, 2 hearing aid dispensers, 2 speech language pathologists, 2 members of the public and 1 member from the Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

At the present time the Advisory Committee is accepting applications for the following vacant or soon-to-be-vacant seats:
