The Division of Licensing Services/Office of Special Licensing oversees the licensing and regulation of Speech and Hearing professionals. The division is guided through the Speech and Hearing Advisory Committee established by Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S.) Title 36, Chapter 17, Article 1. § 36-1902(A)(1) and (C).

Hearing Aid Dispenser Licensing Examination: 
The next Hearing Aid Dispenser Licensing Examination will be held in August 2010. Applications for the exam will be accepted from June 15, 2010 through July 25, 2010 only. Applications sent before June 15, 2010 or after July 25, 2010 will be sent back to the applicant and the applicant will not be registered to take the examination. Call our office with any questions.

Speech and Hearing Professionals Advisory Committee
The Advisory Committee is composed of the OSL Program Manager, 2 physicians, 2 audiologists, 2 hearing aid dispensers, 2 speech language pathologists, 2 members of the public and 1 member from the Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

At the present time, the Advisory Committee has the following vacancies:
