Arizona Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB)

The Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB) was legislatively established as a separate public body in 1993, effective January 2, 1994. The PSRB maintains jurisdiction over individuals who have committed a violent or dangerous criminal offense and are determined to be guilty except insane. Persons who are placed under the jurisdiction of the PSRB are committed to a secure state mental health facility.

Meeting Information

The Psychiatric Security Review Board meets the last Friday of each month. Agendas will be posted in draft form until 24 hours prior to the meeting when the final meeting agenda will be available.

The final agenda is posted on the entrance door of the Wildflower Building on the grounds of the Arizona State Hospital at 2500 East Van Buren Street in Phoenix, Arizona, 85008.
