The Bureau of
Emergency Medical Services & Trauma System, Arizona Department of Health Services, certifies
all Advanced Life Support Base Hospitals in Arizona.
To become certified as
Base Hospital you must complete a Bureau approved application. Upon receipt
of your application the Bureau will then perform an on-site visit to ensure
compliance with Statutes and Rules. Once certified, the hospital must be
audited every two years, or as needed to ensure compliance.
