Premier EMS Agency Program (PEAP)

The Premier EMS Agency Program is a recognition program maintained by the Arizona Department of Health Services. Premier EMS Agencies have demonstrated that they:

  1. Have the commitment from their EMS leaders to use data to optimize patient care,
  2. Submit all EMS calls to AZ-PIERS through an electronic reporting system to optimize Arizona’s EMS system,
  3. Participate in Data and Quality Assurance initiatives,
  4. Implement findings into their policies and procedures, and
  5. Review all EMS calls for major trauma, stroke, ST-segment myocardial infarction, and Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest.
