previously included as Exhibits 1, 2, and 3 to A.A.C. R9-25-503 were repealed
effective January 6, 2007.
A new Table 1 in
R9-25-503 now includes the list of agents that different levels of EMTs are

The Department has
also adopted, as guidance documents, a number of drug profiles for agents
included in Table 1. These drug profiles were developed by the Department, in
cooperation with its advisory committees, to provide guidelines for the safe and
effective use of agents for maximum patient benefit. These drug profiles are
intended to be used as reference documents by medical control authorities, EMS
educators, and EMS providers. The drug profiles are available on the
Department’s website at
http://www.azdhs.gov/diro/admin_rules/guidance.htm.
The Department is
aware that the use of agents evolves with time and increased knowledge.
