Number of Trauma Cases per 100,000 Arizona Residents by Gender & Age, ASTR 2005-2010

In every age group, males are more likely than females to sustain a trauma-related injury. The age group for each gender with the highest number of trauma cases per 100,000 people is the 15-19 year age group. The highest overall trauma rate of any combined gender and age group is 15-19 year old males, although the 2010 rate is lower than that of previous years.
