This table details EMT Mobility Patterns between the Certification levels. Three percent of EMT-Basics spent 2.6 years as Basics and then re-certified as Intermediates. From those who re-certified as EMT-Intermediates, 10.3% remained as Intermediates and 89.7% spent 1.7 years and recertified as Paramedics.
