More people live in the Central Region than any other single region in Arizona, and more traumatic injuries occur in the Central Region than any other. However, the highest number of traumatic injuries per 100,000 people occur in the Western Region, followed by the Northern Region, Southeastern Region, and Central Region, consecutively.
