The Best Practices Advisory Committee has chosen the following practices for implementation during 2007 and 2008:
Client Directed, Outcome Informed Practice
The Best Practices Advisory Committee advised the DBHS about Practices to implement for adolescents and young adults with the Department's two SAMHSA Grants: The Child and Adolescent State Infrastructure Grant and the Substance Abuse Coordination Grant. The committee selected:
Four Evidence Based Practices exist that agencies can select in proposals to the state to be implemented initially in selected agencies to iron out any implementation issues prior to a wider implementation. Initially, two agencies will be selected to implement the chosen Evidence Based Practice.
