State Coalition to Promote Community Based Care Under Olmstead
Summary: Grant funds are provided through a revenue agreement with the Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. (AHP) to expand resources and opportunities for adults with serious mental illnesses and children with serious emotional disturbances to live in their home communities. Funding comes from the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) to facilitate the implementation of activities identified in the Arizona Olmstead Plan to improve treatment for individuals who are difficult to discharge from the Arizona State Hospital.
