| The Department is in the process of drafting two rulemakings amending the Child Care Facilities rules.
Rulemaking #1 will address technical changes, reorganization, staff qualifications and training, and program
requirements, etc. Rulemaking #2 will address ratios, group size, and square footage requirements.
After each draft is completed, the Department will afford interested persons with opportunities to discuss and make comments about the draft rules.
The draft rules will not be adopted until the Department has provided this opportunity to all interested persons.
