Health Care Institution (HCI) Licensing
 

In response to HB2634 (Laws 2011,Chapter 96), the Department is revising the rules in Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.), Title 9, Chapter 10 and Chapter 20. Draft rules were completed, posted for comment, and revised based on the comments and consistency with other rules in the Chapter. The Department is posting a revised draft of the Articles in the Chapter and is soliciting comments on the revised drafts until May 5, 2013. To ensure that the public has notice of the opportunity for reviewing and commenting on the new draft rules, the Department has submitted a Notice of Public Information (page 548) for publication in the Arizona Administrative Register.

Until the new draft is posted, the Department will continue to collect comments about the draft rules or the rulemaking process through an online survey.

HCIs Currently Licensed Under 9 A.A.C. Chapter 10

The Department is revising the rules for HCIs licensed under 9 A.A.C. 10.

HCIs Currently Licensed Under 9 A.A.C. Chapter 20

The Department is revising the rules for HCIs currently licensed under 9 A.A.C. 20 and moving them into 9 A.A.C. 10.

Outpatient Facilities Currently Licensed Under 9 A.A.C. 10 or 9 A.A.C. 20

The Department is revising the rules for HCIs proving care in an outpatient setting.
