Welcome to the Administrative Rules website.  This website is being provided to inform the public about the Arizona Department of Health Services' (Department) rulemakings, substantive policy statements, agency guidance documents, and staff contact information. 
 
 

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The rulemaking moratorium has been extended.
The Department will not be conducting rulemaking activities until after
October 16, 2009 due to the Governor's June 29th memorandum.

  
The Administrative Rules Office is composed of the Acting Manager, Thomas Salow, and senior rules analysts.  Rules, five-year-review reports, and substantive policy statements are drafted by Department of Health Services rules analysts who report to the rules administrator.
