The Well Woman HealthCheck Program (WWHP) is a state-wide that provide eligible women with free breast, and cervical cancer screening. The WWHP is part of the Bureau of Health Systems Development, operated by the Arizona Department of Health Services, through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
This decentralized program provides free cancer screening services through program contractors which include several county health departments, community health centers, and federally qualified health centers located throughout Arizona.
The Well Woman HealthCheck Program and the Arizona Cancer Control Program are supported in part under the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Cooperative Agreement #5U58DP000796 through the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program and the National Comprehensive Cancer Control Program.
