The Arizona Primary Care Area Program designates Arizona Medically Underserved Areas (AzMUAs) which can be made the focus of programs providing adequate access to health care for Arizonans. 
Additionally, by Arizona Statute, all federally designated Primary Care Health Professional Shortage Areas are considered AzMUAs.

This web site will acquaint you with the methodology for the AzMUA designation and provide maps and statistical profiles for each area. The map shows Primary Care Areas for the State of Arizona. Click on the graphic to view a larger version of this map.
