Environmental Microbiology Lab
 
The Arizona State Laboratory Environmental Microbiology Department conducts microbiological examinations of food and water for sanitary quality and isolation and identification of microorganisms of public health significance. Sanitarians and representatives of federal, state, county, and city agencies responsible for monitoring quality and enforcing regulations governing production and handling of food and water may submit samples for analysis. Private individuals or agencies requesting testing will be referred to their county health department or private laboratories. Please contact the laboratory for information and referrals.
