Meaningful Use
Arizona State Immunization Information System (ASIIS)
The objective for meaningful use in this requirement is the capability to submit electronic data to immunization registries or Immunization Information Systems and actual submission in accordance with applicable law and practice. The measure of this requirement is to perform at least one test of certified EHR technology’s capacity to submit electronic data to immunization registries and follow-up submission if the test is successful.
ADHS is currently working with partners, please see our website for more details on how to submit immunization data. Standards to be utilized are HL7 v2.5.1 immunization messages.
