ID Card Verification – Home

  • We would like to inform you that the Information Technology Services Division of the Arizona Department of Administration is going to perform maintenance on the web servers for Medical Marijuana between 11:30 PM on October 18th and 7 AM on October 19th. During this time, the online medical marijuana applications will not be available. We apologize for the inconvenience and would like to assure you that we will be monitoring the process and will make sure all the services are successfully restored.
  • The Arizona Department of Health Services will accept Dispensary Registration Certificate applications in late 2015. There will be more information forthcoming regarding which, and the number of, CHAAs that will be available.

Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS) §36-2807, ADHS has established a secure, password-protected, Web-based verification system for use by law enforcement and employers.

NOTE: Medical Marijuana Registry Identification cards are now printed with colored bars distinguishing each card type:

  • Qualifying Patient – Yellow
  • Designated Caregiver – Red
  • Dispensary Agent – Blue

ADHS will begin printing the new cards with colored bars on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Please note that ADHS will not be re-printing existing cards with the new color scheme. Cardholders will receive this new card when and if a new card is issued after May 8, 2013.

To register for the verification system, please visit https://azmmvs.azdhs.gov. ADHS will review these requests, and an email will be sent once the account has been approved.
