Isabella is still queen, holding the number one girl’s baby name for the second year in a row. Anthony, after years of hovering in the top 10, finally claims the number 1 spot.

Aiden, one of five new top 20 boy’s names, makes an impressive debut on the list at number 14, while Michael, who almost missed the top 10 last year, makes a slight comeback from number 9 to number 4.

Hanna and Neveah (heaven spelled backwards) 2007’s number 15 and 18 respectively fell off this year’s list. Replacing them are Camila at number 18 and Victoria at number 20, adding to the list popular of royalty names.

The Arizona Department of Health Services collects data from birth certificates filed with its office of Vital Records. This year, ADHS saw a drop in total births in Arizona, from 96,552 to 93,355.
