According to Executive Order 2008-10 each executive branch agency is required to "Appoint an Agency Privacy Officer . . . to help the agency ensure the privacy of sensitive personal information within the agency's possession." Another term for sensitive personal information is confidential information and includes all information created, received or maintained by the Department. The list below shows the areas that fall within the purview of the Privacy Office.
