Welcome to the

Arizona-Sonora Health Inventory and Resource Guide

This guide was created to inform border residents and health providers of the services that are available in their local area and binationally throughout the region. The inventory/resource guide is a tool that is considered a work in progress. It will continue to grow and expand as it becomes more accessible to the public through multiple forms of media.

This guide is available in the following formats:
  • Arizona Department of Health–Office of Border Health website
  • CD-ROM
  • hard copy
Through these forms of distribution, we hope community members and other health services use this Binational Resource Guide as a powerful promotional and collaborative tool, linking their programs and community members to service agencies throughout the Arizona-Sonora border.

This CD-version includes interactive Internet links to:
  • Arizona-Sonora border health and social service agencies
  • Agency and Program Contact e-mail addresses
  • International, national, state and local funding agencies currently supporting activities along the Arizona-Sonora Border
  • Sister City epidemiological graphs of the major Healthy Gente/Frontera Saludable 2010 objectives
  • Overviews of each Arizona county and Sonoran Municipality
