Advice for Refugees and Asylees
If you are having a medical emergency, call 911. If you have health problems that are not an emergency, do not call 911. Make an appointment with your doctor or ask your resettlement caseworker for advice.

- coverage from the Refugee Medical Assistance Program (RMAP) for your first 60 days in the US
- a medical screening within 60 days of arrival for refugees, or within 60 days of being granted asylum for asylees

- culturally and linguistically appropriate medical services
