Focus Areas
 
The Healthy Arizona 2010 strategic plan addresses the focus areas listed below.  Ten of the twelve focus areas are based on the Leading Health Indicators released by the office of the Surgeon General in January 2000.  The focus areas highlight individual behaviors, physical and social environmental factors, and health systems issues.
