  • Perinatal Hepatitis B Program
    The Perinatal Hepatitis B Prevention Program works with laboratories, hospitals and local health departments to ensure that all positive lab reports are reported to the Arizona Department of Health Services and to ensure the newborn receives appropriate prophalaxis as does any sexual/household contacts.
     
  • Satellite Broadcasts
    The Arizona Department of Health Services is a viewing site for the National Immunization Program's satellite video courses.  You can find the schedule of classes here.
     
  • Vaccine Management
    A review of vaccine quality controls to ensure that patients are protected by immunization.
     
  • Vaccine Information Statements (VIS)
    The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act requires all health care providers in the U.S. who administer vaccines to provide a Vaccine Information Statement copy to the adult who is receiving a vaccine, or to the parent/legal representative of any child receiving an immunization.
     
  • Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS)
    A vaccine safety surveillance program designed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
