The ADHS Wildfire Plan is now available on-line. Smoke
generated by wildland fires can pose a major health risk. If small

The
Environmental Health Consultation Services (EHCS) program
conducts Public
Health Assessments and Consultations for United States
Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) superfund sites in
Arizona. Consultations for other environmental exposures
upon request.
The
EHCS program is funded by a grant from the Agency
for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), which is
part of the U.S. Centers for
Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention in Atlanta,
GA. Most of the health reports completed by the
program discuss health effects at USEPA superfund sites.
However, the program has completed health assessments for brownfields sites and other events such as fires at industrial facilities.
