The Children's Environmental Health Program of the Office of Environmental Health addresses lead poisoning, pesticide poisoning, indoor air quality, safe sun behavior, and other environmental health concerns of a non-infectious nature.

Epidemiologists and Environmental Health Specialists track health and demographic data, perform lead and pesticide poisoning investigations, answer the public's questions about health risks and health effects related to environmental contaminant exposure, and conduct educational outreach on disease prevention.
