Air quality has a direct link on our health, from pollen count and allergies to dust and asthma.

The Air Pollution and Respiratory Health Branch (APRHB) leads the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC's) fight against environmental-related respiratory illnesses, including asthma, and studies indoor and outdoor air pollution.
The federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) oversees that nation's efforts to regulate air quality.
In Arizona, the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) is tasked with regulating air quality. However in many cases (like in Maricopa County) that task is delegated to the county level. You can visit ADEQ or your county's website for air quality information, such as the current Air Quality Index, current restrictions (like no-burn days), or instructions on how to file a dust complaint.
