created to establish standards for persons employed as sanitarians
in Arizona and to provide for the examination of applicants for
registration as sanitarians. The Council is located within the

National Environmental Health Association Embarks on a Process to
Change the Name of its REHS/RS Credential.
After several years of reflecting on whether or not NEHA should
initiate action to change the name of its premier environmental
health credential, action steps have been taken to begin a dialogue
within the profession on a name change. To help wade into
this complex and controversial issue, a background paper was
