2009 H1N1 Influenza Surveillance Activity Reports

The reports listed below are provided for historical purposes and reflect terminology used at the time of their original posting, they were originally posted on May 1, 2009, through September 16, 2009.

H1N1 data for the period September 13, 2009, through October 3, 2009, are included with the seasonal influenza reports for the 2008-2009 season. H1N1 data after October 3, 2009 are included with the seasonal influenza reports for the 2009-2010 season.

Note: Unlike the seasonal influenza reports, the H1N1 reports included cases reported up to the date of posting and the data may therefore not correspond exactly to the MMWR weeks. The reports below are organized according to the week they were posted. Posting dates are reflected in the filenames.

*The MMWR week corresponds to the week of the year.  It does not refer to the same dates every year. MMWR weeks last from Sunday through Saturday and usually range from 1 to 52. Depending on how the days of the year fall within the weeks, it is possible to occasionally have a Week 53.
