Arizona is experiencing an increase in pertussis cases in 2005.
Due to an overall decline in cases in late August and September, the state wide outbreak
ended on October 11, 2005. The outbreak was
declared on May 19, 2005. This page contains statistical information in
relation to the ongoing status of pertussis cases throughout the state.

(Cochise, Graham, Navajo, Pinal, La Paz)
Brown: 10 - 20 reported cases per 100,000 population
(Apache, Gila, Greenlee, Maricopa, Mohave, Santa Cruz, Yavapai, Yuma)
Red: Greater than 20 reported cases per 100,000 population (Coconino, Pima)
Data in epidemiological curve represent cases reported to ADHS with onset date.
Additional confirmed and probable cases reported to the county health
departments will be added as information is received.
