The 33rd Annual Vector-Borne & Zoonotic Disease Conference & Workshop featured a panel of local and national experts to discuss the ever-changing world of vector-borne and zoonotic diseases. Topics included enhanced influenza surveillance and zoonotic transmission, bats and rabies, plague, Burkholderia pseudomallei, mosquito surveillance and control, new mosquito control products, dengue, and updates from national meetings. Speakers from ADHS, University of Arizona, Arizona Game & Fish, USDA Wildlife Services, Northern Arizona University, Maricopa, Coconino, and Yuma counties presented.
