SEDONA- AREA RABIES ACTIVITY

July 25, 2007

A rabid bobcat was found on Kachina Road, off of Dry Creek Road, between Indian Gardens and Slide Rock State Park, Yavapai County. The bobcat casually walked into a house.

 

April 03, 2007

A rabid fox was found on Shangri-La Road in Oak Creek Canyon, Coconino County.

 

February 06, 2007

A rabid fox was found at the end of Soldier Pass Road, north of Highway 89.

 

January 24, 2007

A rabid fox was found in the Sycamore Canyon Wilderness area.

Two rabid Western Pipistrelle bats were found on North Candlewood Loop in Tucson, Pima County.

 

July 26, 2007

A rabid bat was found on East River Road in Tucson, Pima County.

 

July 25, 2007

A rabid Western Pipistrelle bat was found at on North Camino Almonte Road in Tucson, Pima County.

 

July 24, 2007

A rabid Western Pipistrelle bat was found on North Candlewood Loop in Tucson, Pima County. The bat was found at a community pool.

A rabid fox was found on North San Pedro River Road in Tucson, Pima County.

 

July 16, 2007

A rabid Western Pipistrelle bat was found on South Dos Amigos Lane in Dos Cabezas, Cochise County. A vaccinated cat was exposed.

 

July 16, 2007

A rabid fox was found on South Pine in Globe, Gila County. A vaccinated dog was exposed.

 

July 13, 2007

A rabid Western Pipistrelle bat was found at Highway 260 and Old Linden Road in Show Low, Navajo County. It was found alive on the ground.

 

July 13, 2007

Two rabid hoary bats were found at Big Springs and North Kaibab between Jacobs Lake and South Rim, Coconino County.

 

July 12, 2007

A rabid Myotis bat was found at Magnolia and Samaritan Way in Prescott, Yavapai County.
