Number of firearm-related fatalities per 100,000 population in specified group

Prior to 1990, Maricopa and Pima counties were delineated by the Census Bureau as urbanized areas in Arizona. Beginning in 1990, Yuma and Pinal counties met the criteria of the Census Bureau and were classified as urban. The remaining counties comprise Arizona's rural areas.
