The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for three counties.

-La Paz and Yuma Counties will be affected until July 26.
-Mohave County will be affected until July25.

Daytime highs up to 122 degrees Fahrenheit are expected with the potential to cause life-threatening illnesses or even death. Public cooling centers are available in some areas. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and stay informed.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a health advisory for increased risk of dengue virus infections in the United States for 2024. Global cases of dengue in 2024 have been the highest on record for this calendar year and U.S. travelers have had a higher-than-expected number of dengue cases.
