The National Weather Service has extended an Extreme Heat Warning for LaPaz, Maricopa, Mohave, Pinal, and Yuma counties through August 13. A heat warning is ongoing for Coconino county through August 14. Daytime highs up to 116°F are expected. Public cooling centers are available in some areas.
