The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for Mohave County: August 24-28; Cochise and Santa Cruz Counties: August 25-29; Coconino and Yavapai Counties: August 26-28. Heat warnings are ongoing for Gila, Graham, Greenlee, La Paz, Maricopa, Pima, Pinal, and Yuma Counties through August 29. Daytime highs are expected to reach 119°F. Drink water, limit your time in the heat, and check on neighbors and family members. Visit air-conditioned public spaces like malls, libraries, or community centers to stay cool.
