The National Weather Service has extended the Extreme Heat Warning for Coconio county through August 7; Mohave county through August 8; La Paz, Maricopa, Pinal and Yuma Counties through August 9. Daytime highs are expected to reach up to 117°F. Drink water, limit your time in the heat, and check on neighbors and family members. Visit air-conditioned public spaces like malls, libraries, or community centers to stay cool. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and stay informed.
