The National Weather Service has extended the Extreme Heat Warning for Graham, Greenlee, and Pima counties through July 9 and Coconino county through July 11. Heat warnings are ongoing for Gila, La Paz, Maricopa, Pinal, and Yuma counties through July 9. Daytime highs are expected to reach up to 117°F. Drink water, limit your time in the heat, and check on neighbors and family members. Visit air-conditioned public spaces like malls, libraries, or community centers to stay cool. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and stay informed.
