The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning for six counties. Maricopa and Pinal Counties will be affected from Aug. 30-31. Coconino County will be affected in areas below 4,500 feet from Aug. 30-Sept. 2. Mohave County from Aug. 30-Sept. 4 and La Paz and Yuma Counties will be affected from Aug. 30-Sept. 5 until 8 p.m. Daytime highs of up to 114 degrees Fahrenheit are expected.
