The National Weather Service has extended the Extreme Heat Warning for Mohave county through August 5. Heat Warnings are ongoing for Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Pima, Santa Cruz, and Yavapai Counties through August 3; Coconino, La Paz, Maricopa, Pinal and Yuma Counties through August 4. Daytime highs are expected to reach up to 120°F. Drink water, limit your time in the heat, and check on neighbors and family members. Visit air-conditioned public spaces like malls, libraries, or community centers to stay cool. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and stay informed.
