The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for Coconino county, August 18-20; Heat warnings are ongoing for Gila, Graham, Greenlee, La Paz, Maricopa, Mohave, Pima, Pinal, and Yuma counties through 21. Daytime highs are expected to reach up to 114°F. Drink water, limit your time in the heat, and check on neighbors and family members. Visit air-conditioned public spaces like malls, libraries, or community centers to stay cool. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and stay informed.
